Uranus in Taurus

Kelli Fox

Uranus, planet of unexpected events moves into Taurus (again) on March 6th. It moved into Taurus on May 15th, 2018 where it will continue to be until 2026. It turned retrograde on August 7th, 2018 and continued to move backward into Aries. It turned direct in Aries on January 6th at 28 degrees Aries. It will now stay in Taurus until July 2025.

Pushing for Change

Uranus first entered Aries in May of 2010, either contentiously pushing for change or alternately, aggressively defending the status quo even in the face of inevitable progress. There was no higher authority than the individual, and the crazier the idea was, the more sound it seemed. However, this era of raw rebelliousness is coming to an end as Uranus enters Taurus on May 15, 2018 and stays until late April 2026, but make no mistake: Uranus slows down and shuts up for no one, even when placed in otherwise stubborn, steadfast, and predictable Taurus.

It’s About Money, Property, and Values

Uranus in Taurus will shake up our ideas of money, property, and values, possibly transforming these things, whether we want it or not. The last time Uranus entered Taurus, the world was in the thick of the Great Depression. World War II was raging as it left Taurus. Uranus in Taurus didn’t start either of these. The seeds were planted before the results exploded to the surface.

Self Interests

With Uranus in Taurus, people become more interested in themselves, their own needs, and their own values. Globalism is replaced by nationalism at an ever-increasing rate, something we saw appearing before 2018. In fact, Uranus in Taurus will be wreaking havoc from Day One.

Looking Ahead

A trine from Jupiter in Capricorn in December 2019 through January 2020 brings knowledge to Uranus’s brilliant madness. The first half of 2024 brings a conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus while Uranus sextiles Saturn and Neptune, giving us societal and global changes that make life better for the other 99%, making the dream of transformation that begun in 2023 when Pluto entered Aquarius possible.
