Sun conjunct Pluto

My Way

Kelli Fox

You perceive yourself as powerful, and others do too. With laser-like precision you narrow your focus on exactly what you want to achieve, and work tirelessly and relentlessly toward your goal. You can't tolerate others getting in your way, and have no patience for people who are slower than you.

Your intensity scares away others, yet your smoldering charisma and palpable personal power attract the few who are as strong-willed as you (or submissive types who like to be dominated, but secretly you detest these people). Battles of will are unavoidable for you, and the unconscious urge to control those close to you may in fact drive them away. After a few of these painful experiences, you may decide it's just easier to be alone, although in your heart of hearts you long for a deep soul connection with your equal. In any event, you need lots of time by yourself. Don't underestimate or ignore this need, for it is during your alone time that you'll connect with your deepest personal resources, which are many. You have the capacity to go far in life, by virtue of your focus, intensity, and will. Keep things in perspective, and develop meaningful relationships, too.

I have Scorpio Sun 10º and Scorpio Pluto 19º. Is it a conjunction?

It is a conjunction. I’ve been researching astrology intensely for a decade. Anything within the 10 degree range is a conjunction, in a birth chart. I just want to say…. I’m a Capricorn… by transit… Pluto is now in the sign of Capricorn currently in the sky. So I’m getting hit by the same energies of Pluto. If you have this conjunction in Scorpio…. I’ll take a guess… you’re either hopelessly addicted to a drug or bad relationship…. or…. you are a very strong person who intimidates many, yet is close to a few strong people. And… Speaking from personal experience, a healthy approach is to allow…. yes… allow Plutos forceful energy to flow through you. This may sound insane or impossible… but it is. I’m doing it. It hurts. I know a girl with the same sun Pluto conjunction in Scorpio… and she is hopeless against her dark side. She can’t handle…. her own intensity… so if I come across as slightly intense…. she won’t have a conversation…. cause the intensity inside of her… is so strong, and she won’t face it… and I can see that… she’s just hopeless and weak. And it sucks that I’m going through this…. painful transit…. with Pluto hitting my sun directly. But I can see…. that even I a Capricorn, and allowing myself to grow… and transform. And it comes from not fearing my intensity. If you fear it, you’re merely going into denial… and it will haunt you for the rest of your life and you’ll be projecting the Power of your own intensity onto the world around you. I’m getting taught, in a hardcore manner, that I have to love myself, things happen beyond my control, and that the true way to connect to someone is to share the darker side of things, and not be afraid of that. If those close to you don’t walk with you down this sort of road, they aren’t worth holding onto. Scorpio, Pluto, etc is a social sign, and by and by, you’ll find out the whole truth of your loved ones. You may not like it, but it will be the God honest truth.

Me too! Also both conjunct Mars (Scorpio). What S.Heddon said about avoiding the intensity makes a lot of sense to me.
