Building a House on Sand

Kelli Fox

Themes that will resound throughout your life are reality versus illusion, transcending boundaries and the dissolution of established structures. Not only did these themes pervade the news and culture when you were born, but they will also be apparent in your personal life as well. It's like building a house on sand.

No matter how big your dream or how good your plan, you are going to run into constant trouble with shifting ground and probably evasive contractors as well. You often feel that you just can't win, and may start to take a dim view of the world. Or perhaps that dim view preceded all the bad luck. It's a chicken-and-the-egg question! In any case, bitter reality seems to dash all your dreams, and you can be prone to all sorts of strange imaginings and dark, irrational fears. Don't let your imagination get the best of you. There may be a theme of some sort of suffering or sacrifice in this lifetime, and all sorts of past-life questions linger in your mind. You may have trouble establishing boundaries or being forceful enough to defend yourself. With experience, you will overcome the harder aspects of this connection, and learn to 'walk the spiritual path with practical feet.'

    Hi there,
Thank you Kelli this is all too correct in many ways but if I tend to feel not enough forceful to defend myself and establish boundaries it is true. Social games aren’t my best as I lack a common sense of masking things and feelings and am always without a social mask. .. Is that in a sense what you mean when you say : “walk the spiritual path wigh practical feet” ?

    Hi Yves,

    thanks for the feedback.
“walk the spiritual path with practical feet”
This means always have two feet on the ground when involved with any spiritual pursuits. Also, try not to get caught up in dogma or having someone use your beliefs against you.

    I hope this helps.
