Jupiter square North Node

Distracted from Destiny

Kelli Fox

When given the choice, you often choose to do what you want to do instead of what you ought to do. So, although you have plenty of faith, you feel rather directionless. You would genuinely like to understand your life path, to know what you should be doing to fulfill your destiny.

But the things that you're curious about and want to explore seem to distract you from ever really understanding that destiny. You're interesting, sociable and easy to be around. Since you can strike up a conversation with almost anyone, you've learned a lot about various parts of the world. Yet you don't seem to be able to make decisions in your own behalf that move you forward toward fulfilling your soul-purpose in this life. Unless other factors in your chart indicate a lot of focus, you could have trouble understanding your true mission in life.

This is spot on for me – I have Jupiter at 10 Aquarius in the 8th house and my north node is at 8 Taurus in the 10th with Scorpio Sun / Cap Moon / Cancer Rising – I feel I could really help others but can’t figure out how – I was born to lead but can’t figure out where to lead them

I surely agree with this explanation of the trait. What I know by now, I’m 42y old, is that most of what I’ve learned was really about myself. Thought that all the stuff that interested me and that I dived into, would lead me to a career. By all the stuff I mean astrology, shamanism, plant medicine, healing, tarot, childhood trauma and abuse,… even music. Yet I became none of them.
All of this actually taught me about myself, and allowed me to see who I really am, what I like and what I want. It did not lead to my life purpose in a direct way, yet all of what I studied and experienced has made me what I am today which allows me to create my life’s purpose. Indirectly. Hope this makes sense to the reader, it’s a subtle difference that I even only fully grasp now while writing it down.
