You won't see eye to eye when it comes to duties and responsibility in general. This will be frustrating enough in realms that exist outside your friendship; you have very different work ethics, for example, or senses of familial duty, or convictions about money, and you'll find that you conduct yourselves very differently when it comes to these areas of life. This could be due to the difference in your ages, or backgrounds, or your belief systems.
You could come to a major standoff as you both judge to other harshly. Arguments and bad feelings will only increase if you can't accept each other's positions in these areas. This doesn't have to mean the end of the friendship, but it will mean lots of communication, tolerance and compromise will be necessary.
