What’s the Best Job for You, Sagittarius?

What’s the best career choice for a person like you? How can you use the talents and abilities of your sign to take you as far as possible in your vocation? Can you find work that will inspire, encourage and permit you to do something you love?

You’re lucky! There’s such a wide array of Sagittarius-suitable careers that you may have trouble choosing just one! Yours is a sign that loves to travel abroad and see the world, so any job related to the travel industry is an excellent choice. You could be a travel agent, for example, or work for an airline as a pilot, attendant or in any support position. Cruise ships, railroads and other forms of long-distance transportation are also suitable.

The hotel and hospitality industry is another natural draw for Sagittarius, and includes a wide range of jobs from maintenance and housekeeping to desk clerk to entertainer to general manager. These fields often permit travel, as do leisure and tourism businesses. Your sign is known for being enthusiastic and having the ability to inspire and promote others. This leads to career tracks in professions such as marketing, advertising, publishing or broadcasting, where your abilities to announce and circulate are well used.

Because Sagittarius is also a sign associated with religion, you may inspire others through preaching or proselytizing, or may work in a church or other religious institution. Higher education is also the realm of Sagittarius, so jobs in and around colleges, universities and institutes have definite appeal. You’d also make a fine tutor and an effective teacher for young people.

Sagittarius is one of the signs associated with the legal profession, which opens the door for many different careers from mail delivery to full partner, from working for a non-profit to charging top dollar for your services.

Hey Aylina. I am also a student who completed masters in computer application which is similar to Information Technology. I hate coding even though I completed my master’s in computers. I switched my career to Digital Marketing and I am enjoying it a lot. It gives a lot of space in creativity which is found in abundance in a Sagittarian. All i would recommend is change your field to marketing where you have an opportunity to meet a lot of people or if you do not want marketing just try your hands on Digital marketing. You can take any online course or join a physical training class.

I can understand what you are going through. I hated my master’s because I had chosen a wrong career path but I rectified it. Do not worry. It happens and it is not the end of your career. Just take my advice in the above comment. Sagittarians Rock 🙂

I am a 46 year old male who is finally take the time to find out who I am in this Universe. I’ve had over 30 jobs since 1992 and I am beginning to think something is very wrong with me. I am passionate about helping others but because of a tumultuous childhood that left me undisciplined, now bitter and easily distracted by the misgivings of others; I can’t seem to figure out why I have such a hard time fitting in on most jobs. I read over the traits of a Sagittarius male and I fit the description almost to a “tee”. I know you can’t fix my childhood or other areas that are mine alone to resolve; but I’m desperate to have a purpose in life and be a blessing to my wife and family? #confused and #ashamed

      Hi Gary,
I so know what you are going through so here are a couple of pointers/things you can do.
Get this book on Amazon. I can do anything if only I knew what it was by Barbara Scherr and read and do the exercises in it. There are other books like it too if this one doesn’t work. the point is to keep on trying. Get spiritual. As a Christian, Pastor Charles Stanleyr would always say if you want to know who you are, get your heart right with God. So I started studying the holy Bible, lots of quite time with God, prayer and attending services, retreats, etc. Can’t believe what a difference growing in my faith has made in my life!!! Got into a smaller church which helped immeasurably too. Go on a soul searching mission and give yourself time to do so. Get mindful and thoughtful. Journal. Also, there are tests you can take to assess your interests. The Myer’s Briggs is a good one and there are others that are very helpful. You may be able to enroll in a college course and check out the school’s career services and take the test for free then someone can go over the results with you. There may also be free career interest tests online. The point is you’re still very young whether you realize it or not and you have many years ahead of you where you can grow in a fulfilling career. Don’t let anyone discourage you because many others will just out of jealousy or because they don’t have the guts to change, so they will speak negativity into your life. You are so not alone as I have met many who are in 40s and 50s and are in a career transition because they were outsourced, laid off, or made bad career decisions. Let the the people that are doing something positive and taking action to improve their situation be your inspiration and guide. Now your off to a good start if you do even one of these things. It seems like a lot of work but if you do some of the above, I guarantee a new career will jump out at you. I am in my 50’s and recently was hired in Higher Education/Community College. The job i have now, literally uses all of the experiences I’ve had at my many jobs so none of my past efforts have gone to waste! It’s amazing how faithful God is. I never thought in my 50s I would finally enjoy going to work. Also, if you have cable check out TBN, the speakers will motivate and inspire you even if you’re not a devote Christian. Finally I did meet with a great lady who was a Counselor/and Life Coach. She was $$ but gave me a discount. I paid her $80 per session and had about 4 sessions with her and it did make a difference. I finally came to a place in my life where I knew I needed help, that I wasn’t going to get out of the mess I was in on my own. I began to accept help and good advice and had many people praying for me. It was amazing how suddenly my life started to change and then the door opened at a college. I wish you all the best.
